Stone Case Heard Today
in Judge Holmers Court
Visiting Judge Holmer heard, via Court Call, the Tom Stone case this morning.
The Judge ruled partially to sustain Mr. Stone's Demurrer. Judge Holmer wanted the complaint to include specificity (actual dates the defamation by Supervisor Pyle occurred). He granted Stones attorney 30 days to amend his complaint.
The Lassen County Times has again put themselves in a bad situation. They printed Pyle's defamatory statement but, as of yet the paper, has not been named in Stone's lawsuit.
The LCT recently printed a libelous and defamatory statement made by Supervisor Wosick. The LCT admitted having a copy of the court document, which Wosick referenced, when they reprinted Wosick's statement. The Court document does not support Wosick's statement and the Lassen County Times is again responsible.

Lassen County CAO Stone and new County Supervisor Wosick Better take a REAL CLOSE LOOK AT Joe BERTOTTI FOR THE LAST TEN YEARS
The Lassen County Economic Development Department is a "Dysfunctional Branch of County Government"....what an understatement.
[not too many people didn't know about the corruption in that Department? ????????]
County Supervisor Jim Chapman wasn't the only Supervisor that abused this Department and knew about Director Bertotti's activities since day ONE. Was that faux "shock" or what?
The New Lassen County CAO Tom Stone
should demand a Grand Jury investigation
(anyone now wonder why Settlemire and Kettleson both left?)
Lassen County CAO Tom Stone believes the spending irregularities were intentional [Note Settlemire and Kettleson's recent departures from Lassen County........]
