The Utah based UAMPS has nothing to offer the Lassen Municipal Utility District ratepayers. This organization just came here to drain the coffers.

The LMUD Board and General Manager never had any intention of this relationship benefitting the ratepayers. It has however, provided many VERY EXPENSIVE retreats and vacation meetings for Board Members and  Ray Luhring.

There will be no payback.

UAMPS does not have the money to pay back even if it is in 6 installments.

The LMUD Board's incredible lack of business acumen has led to yet another stupid fake energy scam.

UAMPS plan is to repay LMUD in "energy credits"

Presently LMUD is posting between $400.00 -$1200 monthly payments TO UAMPS for ENERGY?.

LMUD General  Manager, Ray Luhring, says that there was no accounting kept of the $80,440 spent on the failed UAMPS project, yet he claims that UAMPS will reimburse all LMUD costs in "POWER CREDITS"   

On June 23, 2009, LMUD General Manager, Ray Luhring states that  UAMPS announced a settlement agreement on June 5, 2009.

On July 16, 2009, Lurhring states that "The Settlement Agreement between UAMPS and the Intermountain Power Agency (IPA) and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) as yet, is not in the possession of the Lassen Municipal Utility District".

Could Ray Luhring have released a statement to the LMUD Board a mite prematurely or made false statements about UAMPS?

LMUD Board members spent more than the $80,000 they are claiming they spent on this phony project. There were numerous trips to UAMPS by LMUD Board members and General Manager. LMUD needs to fully disclose the costs of this bogus project or KWH will.

Old LMUD Directors and General Manager knew about UAMPS legal troubles "before" they signed up to throw good money down the toilet.

LMUD attorney lies about UAMPS contract

The UAMPS contract signed on November 13, 2008 stated that the original agreement with UAMPS (Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems) was February 17, 1999. NOT TRUE.

LMUD cannot produce any agreement with UAMPS earlier than  December 26, 2006.

This was typical dishonesty from the "Cady trained"  Jones and Langston.  There was no February 17, 1999 agreement with UAMPS as stated in  the "November 13, 2008 UAMPS contract" presented to the LMUD Board to approve.

 Also, Cady and Jones falsely represented LMUD's involvement on December 26, 2006. The LMUD Board, Cardenas, Sargent, Wood, Nagel and Langston passed a "First" and "Second" amendment to a NEW agreement so it appeared to be an OLD existing contract.......this is starting to look like the new "Arrowrock" scam
