KWH PUBLIC RECORDS REQUESTS (32)

 KWH hires Cooper, White, Cooper from San Francisco to take KWH's Public Records lawsuit to trial.  This firm specializes in open meeting violations, public record violation, libel, First Amendment violations.   A Case Management hearing is set for November 18, 2003 to set a date for the hearing.  A no-nonsense case management hearing set a date of January 26, 2004 hearing date for the Public Records Violation lawsuit filed by KWH. Frank Cady did not represent LMUD at the case management hearing. Cady will not be allowed to threaten KWH any longer.

Current Status:   KWH received spreadsheets from Frank Cady with no names or amounts on them.  KWH filed PRA Violation in Lassen County Superior Court, Case #36791

REQ:       Copy of the Arrowrock Feasibility Study

Current Status:  Frank Cady stated, in the LMUD minutes, over and over that the Arrowrock Feasibility Study would be released to the public. The public believed they would be given this study. KWH filed PRA Violation in Lassen County Superior Court, Case #36791

REQ:        Amount paid to Frank Cady for work on Arrowrock Hydro Project

Current Status: LMUD claims that LMUD paid Cady's legal fees for Arrowrock work without any reference to Arrowrock in his invoices. KWH filed PRA Violation in Lassen County Superior Court, Case #36791

REQ:     Copies of Wayne Langstons checks from March/2001 to November 9, 2002

Current Status: KWH had reason to believe that Wayne Langston was being "overpaid". A California Supreme Court ruling stated that public officials pay was disclosable.
