Has Susanville's City Attorney, Mrs. Ridgely Lazard, advised the City of Susanville not to record the Taborski Deed? 

Is Mrs. Ridgely Lazard the principal reason that the City has not received Taborski's Deed? 

Is she the one making the decision to give Mike Taborski FREE DEVELOPER FEES?

The Susanville City Council took another step to deceive the public on June 7, 2006; Resolution 06-4098- accept the Deed from Mike Taborski. 

Except No Deed was recorded.................

 

WHAT IS THE CITY COUNCIL DOING TO GET THE LAND FROM TABORSKI ? ....THEY HAVE WAIVED THE FEES, WHERE'S THE DEED

The City Attorney says that she doesn't have the Deed?

The County Recorder doesn't have it....then who does have it?

Susanville City Attorney, Mrs. Ridgely Lazard sends KWH a letter asking for an "apology" ...again ?

A $30,000 plus Gift to Mike Taborski, owner of the Lassen County Times, and Lazard wants KWH to apologize for exposing this......????? 

 Lazard needs to find other employment......she has demonstrated she is of  "no value" to the people of Susanville. 

Taborski signed a contract with the City of Susanville to give the City a portion of his land at 100 Grand Street if they would waive $14,892 of his developer fees. 

It appears now that Taborski will cheat the public out of ALL OF THE FEES. 

WHAT GIVES TABORSKI THE RIGHT TO CHEAT US?

An additional insult to the taxpayers of Susanville, the City "REDUCES" the costs of  permits, from $5,921.53 to $3,964.03

......and the City still does not have the land that Taborski promised in the signed Agreement

No deposit for sidewalks has been submitted

Mrs. Ridgely Lazard, it appears, has decided to waive Taborski's developer fees and "disregard" Taborski's legal obligation to turn over the land he promised to give the City. 

THIS "CORRUPTION" HAS COST  REVENUE TO THE CITY AND TAXPAYERS

The Council Members do not have any intention of asking for the developer fees from Mike Taborski (owner of the Lassen County Times) or demanding that the "promised" land be turned over to the City.

If this is the case, then both Taborski and the Susanville City Council are crooks

....and these characters blame KWH.....go figure???

HOW MANY taxpayers CAN START A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT WITHOUT OBTAINING AND PAYING FOR FEES AND PERMITS?

Someone that owns the Susanville City Council

Mike Taborski has not lived up to his part of the Agreement with the City of Susanville, yet here is his building at 100 Grand Avenue. Taborski has not paid a single cent of the developer fees...NOT A CENT!!!!! ($20,790.53)

As of June 23, 2006, Mike Taborski has not signed the property over to the City of Susanville. 

The Susanville City Council lied to the public on June 7, 2006. They did not receive, nor does the City of Susanville intend to receive the Deed for the  39'x190.93' part of this property.  

Mike Taborski (owner of the Lassen County Times) is holding the Susanville Council Members to the deal of "free developer fees without the exchange of property"

Taborski must have given things he can't take back..............

The City of Susanville has staged votes on  meaningless Resolutions to convince the public that they have recorded the Deed from Mike Taborski or that it is taking additional time......B.S.  Taborski's  Sidewalk "deal" was recorded two days after the Susanville City Council approved it. 

As of June 19, 2006, the Deed for the 39'x190.93'  has not been recorded 

 

Corrupt Process: The Susanville City Council Members make the "back room deals", approve the "back room deals" at the public meetings, instructs the City Manager to record the Taborski Deed, the City Manager instructs the City Clerk to record the Taborski Deed and .......the City Attorney, Mrs. Ridgely Lazard..........says NO

Result:  Free Developer Fees for Mike Taborski, Lassen County Times owner. Taxpayers get cheated.

ROCKY JOY LIES ABOUT DROPPING TABORSKI LISTING

  On 6/15/2006 Rocky Joy removed the "exclusive" listing of Mike Taborski's building

On June 7, they just took the sign out of the window

 

TABORSKI MUST FINALLY HAND OVER THE LAND TO THE CITY OF SUSANVILLE or PAY THE FEES

Since KWH is  forcing Mike Taborski to eventually record (It hasn't officially been recorded yet)  the transfer of the 39'x 190.93' to the City of Susanville  the "back room deals" have apparently continued.

At the June 7, 2006 Susanville Council meeting, the  Council (Joy recused himself) voted to accept more land from Mike Taborski (167 square feet of frontage). ???

THE   SIDEWALKS !!!!

A $13,180 DEPOSIT THAT TABORSKI DOESN'T  HAVE TO MAKE IF HE TURNS THE SIDEWALK PROPERTY OVER TO THE CITY (167 SQ. FT). 

Did Taborski even pay the $5,898.53 balance on the remaining developer fees?

City of Susanville Resolution 06-4102, Accepting grant deed from Michael and Keri Taborski for the right-of-way dedication on Grand Avenue. 

This Resolution passed unanimously by the City Council Members (Joy left the room). 

KWH will continue to monitor these "Back Room Deals".

NOTE: The City of Susanville represents this "deal" as being with Feather River Publishing...the deal was always with Mike Taborski who owns the property.

Rocky Joy did the Right Thing for the Wrong Reason

June 7, 2006 Susanville City Council Meeting

During the course of this evenings Susanville City Council meeting there was an open hearing (a full house) concerning the Historic Uptown Susanville Association (HUSA) status and proposed increase in their assessment by the City of Susanville. 

Mr. Steve Pezullo, prominent Susanville businessman and property owner, asked Rocky Joy about his ability to be involved in this hearing concerning his involvement as the "Listing Agent" for the Lassen County Times building which is within the HUSA District, and a possible conflict of interest. Mr. Joy responded that effective earlier this same day he withdrew his contract to sell Mike Taborski's property due to the political games that were played by certain individuals which resulted in the "impugning of his reputation within the community".

But...was Joy telling the truth. As of 6/8/06 the Taborski listing was still on Joy's website.

 

Or did Taborski just take Rocky Joy's sign out of the window

 

Let the record speak for itself. 

Kan We Help had the "joy" to expose and reveal the underhanded and self-serving actions of Mr. Joy and the "deals" made between Mr. Joy, the Susanville City Council and Mr. Taborski. 

What was even more revealing about Mr. Joy's comment is that he still doesn't get it.

The entire Council doesn't get it  

Mr. Joy is still attempting to blame others for his own actions. Please note Mr. Joy.......IF THERE WAS ANY IMPUGNING OF YOUR REPUTATION IT WAS CREATED BY YOUR OWN ACTIONS, SIR !!!!

FURTHERMORE, YOUR COMMENTS ALSO INDICATE THAT YOU DID NOT WITHDRAW FROM TABORSKI'S LISTING BECAUSE IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO, BUT BECAUSE YOUR REPUTATION WAS IMPUGNED.

 WOW, HOW EGOTISTICAL AND IGNORANT OF YOU, YOU DID THE RIGHT THING FOR THE WRONG REASON !!!!!

You still don't understand Mr. Joy, that you serve on the City Council to represent the City and it's citizens. Your recent demonstrated performance only indicates that your priority is to use your position as Councilman to promote and improve your personal business and nothing else.

Folks, this is a perfect example of why we, the citizens, must constantly monitor what our elected and appointed government officials are doing. Our republic will certainly go "amuck" if we do not do this. It's just a simple fact that "power corrupts".

If we, as the electorate, do not hold vigil on our representatives we get the "Rocky Joy Results" or "the "Shady Cady Results", same, same.
