County Counsel Recommendation:

A. Appoint the County Clerk or the Confidential Administrative Secretary, with appropriate title and pay, as the Clerk of the Board, retaining the function in the Clerk's office, or

B. Appoint the Confidential Administrative Secretary as the Clerk of the Board under the Office of the County Administrative Officer with the appropriate title and pay. The position would be physically moved to the Office of the CAO
