Arrowrock Owners Are Caught Attempting to Cheat the Federal Government

On September 25, 2013, FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) issued and order to the Five Irrigation Districts to reimburse the United States for the usage of Federal Lands for transmitting power from the Arrowrock Hydroelectric Plant located on the South Fork of the Boise River in Idaho.

The five irrigation Districts filed  an Article 201 which identifies federal land usage by the hydro plant. The Districts reported, to the FERC, they were using 9.73 acres when in fact they were using 13.48 acres of federal land to transmit power.
