COUNTY ELECTION OFFICER shows bias and  SUPPORTS BALLOT MEASURE

"I would vote for Measure K, if I could" Theresa Nagel, Lassen County Times, 10-26-04

The inherent problem with a County Clerk, that also counts the ballots, is that any support for ANYTHING on the ballot shows bias and prejudice.

What's next...showing bias and support by openly supporting all of her family members that appear on the ballot, or are elected by her without ever appearing on the ballot (son-in-law, Wayne Langston has never appeared on any ballot and has never received a single vote)

Governors, mayors, police chiefs can support ballot issues. Registrar of Voter/County Election officials must remain neutral.

If County Clerk, Theresa Nagel, is allowed to promote ballot measures (that she will be counting the votes on), then what is to keep her from thinking that she can promote candidates????

Maybe the Lassen County voters should start feeling "deprived" of honest and unbiased election results.
