On August 31, 2005, Frank Cady tried to get Jaimee Richey an hourly rate to attend a conference. Jaimee Richey stated that she would attend for "costs only" (meals, mileage, hotel). Cady tried to claim that Richey was not LMUD's "interim" attorney but just a regular off-the-street attorney and was entitled to an hourly fee....
